Welcome to Artemis Gymnastics Holiday Program, designed to develop balance, coordination, strength, flexibility and confidence.

ABOUT

Our Gymnastics program comprises recreational and advanced squad streams, designed for children of all abilities. 

The Artemis Centre invites both MGGS students and members of the wider Community to participate in our Foundation Gymnastics and Tumbling programs. 

Our Pathway + Development Gymnastics and Gymnastics and Tumbling Squad programs are only available to existing members. These streams are invitation only. 

 

Please note:

  • You will be registering for the same class and time each day it is offered.
  • To attend multiple weeks, you will need to sign up to each weeks’ programs.
  • You are not able to sign up for individual days unless specified, the programs are only offered as listed.

 

Class Types

Foundation Gymnastics

  • Duration: 45 – 60 minutes.
  • Age Group: 4 years – Year 4.
  • Level: Introductory.
  • Location: Artemis Jumpstart Room.
  • Objectives: Recreational gymnastics program guiding participants through a series of basic gymnastics skills as well as other important characteristics such as flexibility, strength, coordination and spatial awareness.
 

Pathway + Development Gymnastics

  • Duration: 3 hours.
  • Level: Intermediate – Advanced.
  • Location: State Gymnastics Centre.
  • Objectives: Invitation-only, advanced recreational program. Selection is based on the skill level and behaviour expressed by the student throughout the Foundation program.
 

Tumbling

  • Duration: 2 hours.
  • Age Group: Year 5 – Year 12.
  • Level: Introductory – Intermediate.
  • Location: Artemis Team Zone.
  • Objectives: Classes are open ability, which means we accept all skill levels. Learn to flip and move in a safe, encouraging and progressive environment. Students drive the direction of their learning and are provided with multiple drills and activities to tailor the program to assist them with reaching their goals.
 

Gymnastics and Tumbling Squad

  • Duration: 2 – 3 hours.
  • Level: Intermediate – Advanced.
  • Location: Artemis Team Zone and Stage Gymnastics Centre.
  • Objectives: Invitation-only, advanced recreational gymnastics skills that align to the Australian Levels Program (ALP) Level 1 to 3 for Tumbling. Develop the strength, flexibility, coordination, spatial awareness and focus of gymnastics which boosts skill improvement and increases acrobatic ability.

Foundation Gymnastics $100 – $110  / week

Holiday Program registrations will open Wednesday 29 May at 10am via Artemis Envibe. Please note you will need to call / email to reserve a spot, then accept this online. Registration is confirmed once payment has been received.
